berbuka puasa with farah

what i did last weekend..

last saturday,farah invited me to join her and her family berbuka puasa with them.i totally agree cuz i havent seen her since her dad's birthday party at redbox,since before puasa.although we lived not too far (like,10 mins drive from my home to hers) we didnt have time to meet up because im busy with my work and she's busy with her final semester assignments and exams.her mother cooked lontong,ayam masak kicap,jemput2 and kuah kacang and we had air mata kucing..SHIOK!!
after that,we went lepakking at her room..chat and listen to music and do what girls do.she bought this super cool bobbi brown eye shadow that i totally fall in love with!lucky her!we chat until late nite and i decided to stay over.her mom suggested that i should come with them the next day to send her sister back to MRSM muar.her sister is so manja and i dont want to dissapoint the little precious.on our way back her mom bought some biskut raya and some lauk pauk for berbuka but unfortunately,we arrived at skudai 10 minutes till berbuka.so her mom suggested that we berbuka at Good Hope Hotel instead..the buffet was okay...

oh yes, one more thing i forgot to mention
i finally did something with my hair but im not gonna post my current hairdo just yet,because i dont want to spoil the surprise for anne..

hairsytle:this or that?

lately,im so bugged with question on should i change my hairstyle?i meant to do something with my hair since early 2008 but i kept holding it back because im not sure whether i should stay with my current hairstyle or should i change it..

if i stay with this current hairstyle..im stuck with the same look for the past 3 years
if i change my current hairstyle..im afraid im gonna regret changing it

i never trust hairstylists' suggestions because ive listened to them twice and i ended up hiding my hair or i refuse to be seen by public for the first 2 months..there wont be a third time!

this is my current hair state: boring and dull..same old same old,but it worked for me

either like these? perhaps??:

EXHIBIT 1: looked neat with soft curls at the right places

EXHIBIT 2: natasha bedingfeld's hairdo..looked wild and got loads of texture

EXHIBIT 3:TOTAL AND COMPLETE change!i dont want to end up like a mopped sorta look..i like this also,change bits of here and there..

EXHIBIT 4: or just do like eva longoria..crop my hair like this..

chinese flute

we've got free talent show on causeway link people..

well today,i went back home as usual using all time fave public transportation,bus.causeway link to be exact my ride usually cost RM 1.4o but it the price has been raised to RM 1.80 (a 30 % raised) but what to do,everythin went up these days.so,my ride from the town to home is approximately 20 minutes.and everyday is same old same old.but today is different.the passengers are quiet(they're mostly malays,maybe thinking what to buy for berbuka..duh!!),and there this group of Apeks chatting and suddenly one of em start "performing for us" by playing the chinese flute.it was awkward at the same time awesome..but hey,for RM 1.80 for a ride back home on the bus,it was worth it,only for today lor cuz got free show some more..

Sunday, September 14

i would if i could,but i cant so i wont

i am disturbed.

the reason: old flame wants to rekindled our relationship

we separated because we were naive at that time,
we dont have faith in the relationship,
we dont understand each other anymore,
we agree (at that time) that it was for the best
we neither argue nor cheat..

verdict:
there are loads of cons than pros..

BABY ALERT!

proudly welcoming new additional to the family..my cousin and his wife are the proud parent of their first child and he is yet to be named..

my cousin and his wife, kak su

how love works

here is an interesting article on
HOW LOVE WORKS...

There are three distinct types or stages of "love":

1. Lust, or erotic passion

When we're teenagers, just after puberty, estrogen and testosterone become active in our bodies for the first time and create the desire to experience "love." These desires, a.k.a. lust, play a big role both during puberty and throughout our lives. Lust evolved for the purpose of sexual mating, while romantic love evolved because of the need for infant/child bonding.

Sexologist John Money draws the line between love and lust in this way: "Love exists above the belt, lust below. Love is lyrical. Lust is lewd."

2. Attraction, or romantic passion

While the initial feelings may (or may not) come from lust, what happens next -- if the relationship is to progress -- is attraction. When attraction, or romantic passion, comes into play, we often lose our ability to think rationally -- at least when it comes to the object of our attraction. The old saying "love is blind" is really accurate in this stage. We are often oblivious to any flaws our partner might have. We idealize them and can't get them off our minds.

In this stage, couples spend many hours getting to know each other. If this attraction remains strong and is felt by both of them, then they usually enter the third stage: attachment.

3. Attachment, or commitment

The attachment, or commitment, stage is love for the duration. You've passed fantasy love and are entering into real love. This stage of love has to be strong enough to withstand many problems and distractions. Studies by University of Minnesota researcher Ellen Berscheid and others have shown that the more we idealize the one we love, the stronger the relationship during the attachment stage.

tongue twister

1. A bitter biting bittern
Bit a better brother bittern,
And the bitter better bittern
Bit the bitter biter back.
And the bitter bittern, bitten,
By the better bitten bittern,
Said: "I'm a bitter biter bit, alack!"

2. I need not your needles, they're needless to me;
For kneading of noodles, 'twere needless, you see;
But did my neat knickers but need to be kneed,
I then should have need of your needles indeed.

3. How much wood would a woodchuck chuck
if a woodchuck could chuck wood?
He would chuck, he would, as much as he could,
and chuck as much wood as a woodchuck would
if a woodchuck could chuck wood.

4. Sarah saw a shot-silk sash shop full of shot-silk sashes
as the sunshine shone on the side of the shot-silk sash shop.

5. When a twister a-twisting will twist him a twist,
For the twisting of his twist, he three twines doth intwist;
But if one of the twines of the twist do untwist,
The twine that untwisteth untwisteth the twist.

Untwirling the twine that untwisteth between,
He twirls, with his twister, the two in a twine;
Then twice having twisted the twines of the twine,
He twitcheth the twice he had twined in twain.

The twain that in twining before in the twine,
As twines were intwisted he now doth untwine;
Twist the twain inter-twisting a twine more between,
He, twirling his twister, makes a twist of the twine.
