this week

this weekend got so many Hari Raya open houses and my BFF,Farah's open house was yesterday.it was Hari Raya + Kenduri because her parents are suppose to perform Hajj on November.we cooked Laksa Johor since most of her parents' friends and acquaintances request her mama's famous Laksa Johor.i tell you,it was delish!ive been spending my nights at her home since Wednesday,my mama didnt mind because our family know each other well...me and farah are practically like twins!we could passed as sisters.we get that all the time..i will post the pixxies later because i havent got the time to transfer the pics into my trusty thumbdrive yet.

this morning,we spend some time sticking some blings on our handphone.her lil sis said mine is so colourful..

begedil daging

hihi..it is time to show off my cooking skill...

how to make begedil daging (potato patties)

INGREDIENTS:
potatoes..lots of it
minced meat
fried onion flakes(bawang goreng)
coriander (chopped)
eggs (to be separated,the yolk and the white part)
salt and pepper to taste
cooking oil

STEPS:

1. potatoes are peeled and chopped


2. potatoes are fried (other alternative:potatoes can be boiled)


3. potatoes are mashed,add chopped coriander,fried onion flakes,minced meat,the egg yolk, season with salt and pepper to taste,mix the ingredients together


4. shape the mixed ingredients into patties

5. dip them individually into the white part of the egg before fry them in hot oil

FYI,i use 13 potatoes and i got 23 begedil..people usually eat begedil with soto nasi.

Practical Period

my practical period is finally over.it was sad to leave such nice people that have been helping me a lot while i was there as a practical student.i'll missed the people,my table,the computer ive been using,the laughter,the cries and the time i get scolded my them for being naughty..hehe.the jokes we share,the time we ate lunch together and shopping on Friday,the place we ate (Kebayan,Singgah Selalu,Sedap Corner),the coridors that ive walked so many times.
but now im off my practical period and it is time to give a 101 % concentration on my report and presentation.i need all the prayers, helps and supports i could get. (",)

JPTI & P farewell event

on 10th last week the company that ive been doin my practical in was having a farewell event for their 2 staffs, an executive officer,en rosli and a the dept manager,en azhar,also for 2 practical students me,and aishah from UUM.we ate ketupat,ayam masak merah,rendang,serunding,satay,kuah lodeh and some raya biscuits and cakes.
i received a Parker's pen and have to make a short speech.it was thoughtful of the staffs to organize such event for us.THANK YOU FROM THE BOTTOM OF MY HEART...

open houses

i go beraya at JCorp staffs' houses with kak Bee and kak Azie today.it was so much fun.we went to Kak Ipah's house at Tmn Bukit Mutiara and met her delightful son,adik Ajim.he is so cute,talkative and so active.we played hot wheels together.huhu.we bonded instantly.he likes to watch Alam's Story and show some poses of Alam-like dancing style.that kid is beyond funny and cute.plus,he wave at ice cream man that passed by and called the postman,superman.when the postman handed the letters to him,he run to his mother and shouted "ibu! ibu! superman bagi surat!"..how adorable.we ate lunch there.kak ipah's specialty,gulai ayam.yummy!

after kak ipah's house,we went to kak ogy's house at Taman Tun Aminah and Kak Ain's house at Bandar Baru Uda which is near my house.we were so full,i swear we cannot stuff ourselves no longer.it was home time.

i decided to do my laundry today because my clothes already exceeded the laundry basket limit.FYI,i hate creepy crawlers and as im about to dump all the dirty clothes in the washing machine,i met this thing.



i wonder how the thing managed to get in there.it is so unbearably disgusting.mama told me to take the thing out using a piece of cloth.hell no,im gonna do that!!
so the thing get comfy in the washing machine until abah came home.and he retrieved the thing using some magical power that only those who isnt faint-hearted can do.the thing annoyed me so much!

MOVIE: Eagle Eye

it was movie time with anne and aidil and we watched EAGLE EYE..it was the awesomest,actionest,blastful,coolest effects movie!love it,love it,love it!!

hari raya with ex-school mates

yesterday i went berhari raya with anne and three other friends whom i befriend with when i was in Form 6 (lower) at SIGS.there were ME,anne,farah liyana,lily and haniza.we went beraya to Lily's house and eat laksa johor..anne was pleased because she longed to eat laksa johor.right after that,we went to haniza house,then to farah's,to anne's and last is my house..grand finale..ahem.anne kept asking us to feed her aiskrim jagung at plaza larkin and i joked "you all better do as told or she wouldnt keep quiet"..

after berhari raya at my house we went straight to Plaza Angsana and i did a 2009 calendar with my name and image on it for RM3 plus an extra RM0.50 to get the thing laminated at FACEBOOTH.

after i did my calendar,we go karaoke just for fun and to let it out of our system because some of us just get their heart broken by cold-hearted-natural-born-jackasses.my songs were:

it was the "second last" day of puasa and mama told me to buy the cangkuk thingy,for curtains,at Kamdar in Plaza Angsana..i hesitated because i used to work together and kinda got involved with a guy called M.even though we are not together now but i refuse to see him,face to face because he cheated on me.ive found out through Anne,Aidil and several other people who were good to me when i was a sale assistant at Kamdar:Curtains.although i have put all those things behind but i still couldnt set my eyes on the low life jerk!

i hurried to the "cangkuk" section and saw this aunty picking and choosing "cangkuk",and she's thinking what sort of "cangkuk" to get.i couldnt stand the sight of her with her muka selamba,and in the same time looking around searching for M,because i do not want to bump into him.the "cangkuk" is not enough because i need 9 packets and the aunty still thinking and asking her daughter,her husband..her pak cik, her nenek, her moyang (im just exaggerating to show you how annoy i really am at that time)..i knew what kind of "cangkuk" i need and i thought maybe i could just buy 5 of em and the rest we could just use the old ones,i quickly pick 5 and then the aunty said "helllloooo..im here first,wait in line ohkay??!!"

WHY SHOULD I LISTEN TO THE WOMAN,AND WHY SHOULD I WAIT FOREVER TO GET THE "CANGKUK"??SHE SHOULD MEASURE HER CURTAINS AND THOUGHT OF WHAT TYPE OF "CANGKUK" TO GET.SHE SHOULD NOT RUDELY LET OTHER PEOPLE WAIT FOR HER.LIKE I HAVE NOTHING TO DO THAN STANDING THERE WATCHING HER UNTIL SHE FINISHED HER SHOPPING..

"eh mak cik,lain kali fikirla ape yang nak dibeli,tak pasal-pasal orang lain kena tunggu awak!'

thats the line i was thinking im gonna say,but been raised to show respect to the elderly,i patiently waited...UNTIL..i saw M comin my way..i hurriedly search for the nearest sale assistant and asked him whether he could add some more "cangkuk" (so that i could buy the damn "cangkuk" and quickly get away from M) because the aunty hogging all the "cangkuk" and left me with none!the sale assistant who knew that i was his friend's ex,smiled and fetched the "cangkuk" and filled the empty boxes.i quickly selected the damn "cangkuk" and put em on the counter next to the rude aunty..some of her packets of "cangkuk" were ripped apart and i dont know whether she counted the "cangkuk" in the packet..you suppose to get 12 hooks in a packet.she saw mine and i cant tell that she's really annoyed that my packets are new and not ripped like hers..im so pleased with myself..i ended up with 9 packets of new "cangkuk"..and i didnt have to talk to M.

moral:
PATIENCE IS A VIRTUE.
PLEASE SHOW RESPECT AND COMMON COURTESY TO OTHERS AND SOMEDAY YOU WILL EARN OTHERS RESPECT.
