the island of Langkawi

my first time visitting the island of langkawi this year, 21 years of age..we went to langkawi by bus, TELEKOM family trip, my two little brothers did not come along as the youngest, haqkim got to go to school and haziq, have to stay at home because the renovation is still going on. abah and my lil sister, nadia already visitted langkawi and they didnt gasp in awe much like me upon seeing the beautiful island and the attractions there..i manage to record our activities there in my trusty handphone..

Wednesday
10:30 p.m. - all the families gather at telekom and hop into durian burung (double deck), upon arriving at kedah, we saw endless corn/paddy field

Thursday
10:10 a.m. - we arrived at the jetty and on boat heading to pulau langkawi, we watched die hard 4.0 and it take 1 hour ride to get there..everyone seems tired

12 p.m. - arrived at Grand Continental Hotel, we have to wait for a while to be sorted and check-in into our respective room, we got room 425, rest a bit, get clean up and the dads rent a nissan vanette to get around

3:00 p.m. - we ate at zanis' and go straight to Kuala Kuah shop for dishware at Idaman Suri

9:15 p.m. - have dinner at Restoran Nelayan

Friday
9:00 a.m. - have breakfast at nearest restaurant with the rest of the families

9:30 a.m. - shop for batik around the area of Beras Terbakar

11:00 a.m. - arrived at Langkawi Geopark and went cable car ride up to Mount Mat Cincang (the 2nd highest peak in Langkawi), snake and eagle petting..i bought small fan because it is so hot!

2:00 p.m. - shopping for dishware (again!), chocolates (lots and lots of it!), batik and accessories..later we head to Underwater World Langkawi (saw cute penguins, seals, varieties of marine life, otters..there are even birds, and anaconda)

6:10 p.m. - hangout with Uncle Sam's daughter, Faz at a mall (5 mins walk from our hotel)..window shopping and shop for accessories and clothes, we're tired of eating nasi, so we bought Marrybrown's and eat at our own room

9:00 p.m. - dinner with my own family and out shopping for bags and shoes

Saturday
8:30 a.m - breakfast together with all the families

9:00 a.m. - go chocolate hunting some more, we have so many things, we have to buy another bag..

10:00 a.m. - the moms couldn't resist shopping at Idaman Suri again for dishware

11:15 a.m. - head back to hotel

12.15 p.m. - check-out

1:30 p.m - arrived at jetty and go shopping again to kill the time while waiting to depart, have lunch at KFC

5:30 p.m. - our boat finally arrive, and we hop on the boat..im so bored i ask mama to look for abah who is in the top deck, snapping pictures with his new nikon..

7:30 p.m. - arrived and quickly hop into 5 stars bus heading to jb

Sunday
7:00 a.m. - arrive on jb, ready to unpack and rest

i really enjoy cable car riding and visitting the Underwater World Langkawi..
