finally...

today,ive finally come to the end of my diploma chapter.ive checked my final semester result and im happy to announce that i achieved 3 pointer in both my GPA and CGPA.im so thankful to Allah SWT and i couldnt be any happier.i hug mama and kiss her a lot telling her of the result and didnt realize she was in the middle of yaasin.abah was happy for me too..

right now,im waiting for the result from UiTM regarding my application of international business.it is still 50/50.it hasnt been confirmed which campus id get till the final semester result is out.now that it is out,i cant hardly wait.freaking nervous!

oh yeah,im also waiting for my MUET result..whats taking them so long??

Rumah Limas Danga

i open my SSPN account yesterday with Ann accompany me..later we decided to go to Plaza Angsana because we did not want to go home to the boring routine at home.we ate lunch and order sirap bandung soda at Sri Belanga..it is to die for!i would order this drink whenever i ate lunch during my break when i work at Kamdar.later we go karaokay which is the best part.my songs were Maria by Blondie and I Wanna Be With You by Mandy Moore which is the only Mandy's song that i like.poor ann couldnt see clearly as her glasses broke in two.but we manage to have fun somehow.we also browse for Ann's potential glasses-to-be and i recommended a thin black frame from Levi's that i think really suits her.but Ann wanted to go for something white..

later that night,Farah invited me to have dinner with her aunt's family at Rumah Limas in Danga Bay.Farah play tour guide by showing them around Danga as they are from Kelantan.the place is Rumah Limas Selera Serambi which is owned their relatives.we ate in the house kampung-like way.

this year eid adha was a memorable one because it was celebrated at my mom's side and my parents bought keris from pak andak to be slaughtered and distributed to the needy.although the rain kept pouring but i think it was a blessing in disguise from Allah SWT.

i take a last look at keris before he was slaughtered and even though keris wouldnt understand but i did thank him for the meat...this was a very sad moment as i saw how affectionate keris was and he did understand somehow because pak andak kinda talk to him and tell him he is going to be slaughtered.i dont know whether this is funny or heartbreaking moment for me.

today ive finally watched the highly anticipating TWILIGHT with anne.and i must give it two thumbs up and i think it is the best romantic film aside from titanic.from the beginning till the end,the movie absorb to me well and when it was over,i was still in a daze state.it was breathtaking and full of visual effect coolness.the main characters in this movie are Robert Pattinson as Edward Cullen (play cedric diggory in HP and the goblet of fire) and Kristen Stewart as Bella Swan (you probably seen her in Zathura).this romantic-fantasy film is based on a novel written by Stephenie Meyer.

geez..i never really thought about it.preferably after ive finished studies and settled in.

i havent thought about this,but i think i prefer traditional malay wedding with a mix of Javanese from my parents' side

all i could think of for now is white wedding with relatives and close friends coming.

the best part i think is going on a honeymoon,if i could,i would say Italy for its food and culture.if we cant afford it,we would just stay in the remote beach in Malaysia like Pulau Redang or Pulau Perhentian.

another book by Kristin Harmel from the little black dress collection..im totally hooked with this one,it took me 2 days to finish this one.i feel like im Emma,the main character in this novel.

custard bread pudding

INGREDIENTS

stale bread (crust trimmed)
raisins
sugar to taste
1 qt/4 cups of milk
2 tsp vanilla essence
4 eggs
7 tsp custard flour



soak 8-10 slices of bread in semi hot water,arrange them in a baking dish and pour raisins on top of soaked bread.press down bread.



in a mixing bowl,combine 4 eggs,7 tablespoons of custard flour,2 tea spoon of vanilla essence,sugar and milk..i use 1 can of F&N evaporated milk in this recipe


pour the mixture into baking dish and leave it for 5 minutes in order for the soaked bread to absorb the mixture


steam for 15 minutes

coping with grief and loss

This post is specially dedicated to my dear friend who has just lost someone so dear to her...

Losing someone you love is very painful, and it’s something that almost everyone will experience at some point in their lives. Loss that goes unacknowledged or unattended can result in disability. But grief that is expressed and experienced has a potential for healing that eventually can strengthen and enrich life. There is no right or wrong way to grieve but there are ways to make your grieving more complete and more positive.

Helping yourself cope with grief and loss:

Express your feelings in a tangible or creative way.
Write about your loved one in a journal, get involved in a cause or organization that was important to him or her.

Take care of yourself physically.
Get enough sleep, eat sensibly, and engage in regular exercise. Healthy habits will help you with grieving.

Don’t let other people tell you how to feel, and don’t tell yourself how to feel either.
Your grief is your own, and no one else can tell you when it’s time to “move on” or “get over it.” At the same time, it’s okay to be angry at the person who died, to cry every day if you need to.

Plan ahead.
Anniversaries, holidays, and milestones in life can be particularly challenging. Be prepared for an emotional wallop, and know that it’s completely normal. If you’re sharing a holiday or lifecycle event with other relatives, talk to them ahead of time about their expectations and agree on strategies to honor the person you loved.

Others that may help you generate ideas about how to manage your feelings of grief.

MOVIE: The Coffin

my cousin came by today and ask me out,we went to see THE COFFIN because she wanted to see karen mok and i wanted to see super handsome ananda everingham.this genre is NOT our fave but we thought it would be nice to watch horror movie once in a while.
whenever there were horror moments,i would close my eyes with tissues i got from the counter when we bought popcorn and she would focusing on digging for the best looking popcorn and popped them into her mouth.we would laugh when we look at each others face,we were hopeless.

Based on Thailand ritual of lying in the coffins to ward off bad karma,two people decided to go through the custom.chris(ananda) does it for his girlfriend who is dying because of cancer,sue(karen) was diagnosed with cancer a week before her wedding.after the ritual,chris and sue experience miracles but later they encounter terrifying incidents.

i was freaking pissed off with the late comers,WOULD IT KILL Y'ALL TO ARRIVE EARLY???your fat head were blocking my view,nice one...thanks!
not forgetting people who i think,cant read and dont have sense to silent their handphone (even though there was a commercial before the movie starts reminding viewers to be CONSIDERATE and silent their handphone),there was this horror moment and an inconsiderate fella handphone was ringing the chipmunk version of funky town,it totally killed the mood!.once,was forgiven,but the handphone kept ringing and i think that fella doesnt know how to use the handphone and he/she thought it would be cool to have a handphone because everybody has one even though he/she doesnt know how to use it..

my MUET examination slip

i got through my MUET speaking test.thank goodness the candidates in my group are not sucky and they cooperate well,my topic is about current issues of the 21st century.i gave out many points as possible and i did not control the conversation although i do speak a lot.many thanks to ann,yana and kak az for giving me tips and for their support.i pray for the best for their examination and i hope they pass with flying colours of the rainbow.

I was at my cousin’s house for Majlis Potong Jambul baby Syahmi.They served chicken and mutton there.I was not fond of mutton but I really love the ayam masak merah.i didn’t help much as there are not much to do,everything was prepared when I arrive.i just took care of the babies.im happy for my cousin and pray that Allah will always blesses baby Syahmi.
