custard bread pudding



INGREDIENTS

stale bread (crust trimmed)
raisins
sugar to taste
1 qt/4 cups of milk
2 tsp vanilla essence
4 eggs
7 tsp custard flour



soak 8-10 slices of bread in semi hot water,arrange them in a baking dish and pour raisins on top of soaked bread.press down bread.



in a mixing bowl,combine 4 eggs,7 tablespoons of custard flour,2 tea spoon of vanilla essence,sugar and milk..i use 1 can of F&N evaporated milk in this recipe


pour the mixture into baking dish and leave it for 5 minutes in order for the soaked bread to absorb the mixture


steam for 15 minutes
